What I Ate Wednesday

Usually I have Wednesdays off but today I packed up my goodies in a cooler and headed to Vegas with them!

Today:

Lots of water at work.

16 oz cucumber/romaine/carrot/lemon/jalapeno juice with stevia

A variation on Pumpkin Pie in a Bowl with orange extract instead of pumpkin pie spice. This idea came from a member of the Detox Community (thanks, Jen!).

Dinner was a recipe I’ll be posting later this week: Spring Mix with Roasted Beets and Nutmeg Avocado Cream Sauce. I also nibbled some homemade sauerkraut.

aaaand dessert was a Newman’s Own Organic 70% dark chocolate bar. These bars were on sale and I love that they are a little smaller than the standard bar. You can also see that my fingers are beet-stained from dinner preparations!

  2. I’m excited for the avocado dressing recipe! I haven’t tried Newman’s dark chocolate yet, either– but I’m definitely a fan of any smaller-sized bars. I need all the portion control I can get when it comes to chocolate. ;)
