Paleo Banana Bread. I originally made this for Britney but ended up having a couple pieces myself. I can’t believe how fluffy and wonderful baking with almond flour is!
Raw Cardamom Soup. This unusual soup was shockingly tasty! My friend Alissa from Life and Veggie juice came up with this one and I thank her for helping me fall in love with cardamom!
Apple Cinnamon Green Smoothie. This was such a lovely beginning-of-Autumn lunch from The Rebel Grrl Kitchen.
As soon as I saw Marlena’s cornbread recipe, I knew I had to try it SOON. I made the maple version and was not disappointed.
I loved this quote from Jenny at Healthy Crush: Someone recently referred to cleansing as “liberating yourself.” I love that and it’s exactly how I feel – so much better than thinking of it as “depriving yourself.” I truly think eliminating things that are harming you is a GIFT to your body and mind and life. I’ve experienced tremendous freedom from eliminating things completely in the past and I know the power of it. Commitment is freedom, in so many cases.
