“Warm Pumpkin Pie” Carrot Juice

Ingredients:

1 cup carrot juice
1 cup unsweetened nut milk
1 dropperful Nunaturals stevia
1 dropperful NuNaturals vanilla stevia
pinch of pumpkin pie spice

Bring nut milk to a boil in a small pot on the stove. Pour into a 16 oz mug, add stevia and pumpkin pie spice and stir. Add carrot juice and stir again.

  1. Does the heat in the water hurt the nutrients in the juice?

    • It’s not perfectly ideal but it’s certainly not as harmful as pasteurizing. I figure, I’m juicing 365 (ok maybe 362-ish) day’s a year, if something like this once in a while keeps me going and keeps me excited about juice then all the better!

  2. I bought a giant sack of carrots for $6 at Smart and Final once. For two weeks, I had enough carrot juice to drink a cup daily. I noticed that the acne on my face clear up almost completely. And the taste is amazing. Gotta love carrot juice
