I’ve realized I’m just about 1/3 of the way through and I feel as if I’m just getting started. I don’t know for certain that I will get to 90 days or that I will stop at 90 days, it’s just a rough estimate, but if the next two months fly by as quickly as January, this will all be finished before I know it! I don’t want to think about that, it actually makes me sad. Even though it’s a rare day that I don’t want to sink my teeth into something, I don’t feel anywhere near done yet with what I want to accomplish and experience.
Today was nice, I felt good, so good that mid-day I was running up and down the flights of stairs in our apartment while taking out the trash. Work went smoothly, I’m always working on my resistance to being in the moment with things and I really enjoyed a lot of today. The only downside was I tried several new recipes that I wasn’t really a fan of but I was stuck with them. My new favorite ritual is waking up to my sweet tea and journaling and then coming home to sweet tea and blogging.
Here’s a juice I made awhile back, I was going to save it for Valentines because it seemed appropriate but I had no other topic for today so here we are :) Turmeric is known for being anti-inflammatory as well as a beautiful bright color and chiogga beets are almost too beautiful to resist. You can use any sweet apple but I though the opal was nice in keeping with the pale color of this juice.
Anti-Inflammatory Pink Love Juice
1 inch turmeric
1 chiogga beet
2 oranges, peeled
1 opal apple
pinch of cayenne pinch of cinnamon
Juice produce and stir or blend in cinnamon and cayenne.
Today’s Juice Feast:
34 oz celery/bok choy/apple, 28 oz pineapple/pear/lime/watercress, 32 oz cucumber/red bell pepper/mint/jalapeño/lime, 32 oz beet/apple/ginger/lime, 32 oz carrot/chard, 2 oz wheatgrass, 24 oz blood orange juice, sweet tea.
